Saturna Island Parks and Gulf Islands National Park Reserve

Parks information to be updated as it becomes available.

  • East Point Park: Located at the Eastern end of East Point Road, this park features eroded sandstone rock beaches and tidal pools and habitats for migrating birds and marine mammals. To protect wildflowers, please walk only on the mown areas.


  • Russel Reef: Located along East Point Road and features low tide rock shelves, pebble beach, swimming and marine wildlife habitats.


  • Thomson Community Park: Accessible by water or the Quarry Trail, this waterfront park at Saturna Beach is overlooked by rock bluffs and a vineyard and has a pit toilet and picnic area.


  • Waterfall Community Park:This park includes the Lyall Creek Trail which offers a beautiful view of a waterfall, mosses and ferns.


  • Winter Cove Marine Park:This park is located on Winter Cove Road on the Northern Tip of Saturna. The park features a beach, anchorage and boat launch, a picnic area, pit toilets, water pump and walking trails to Boat Pass. Winter Cove also has a baseball park and is the site of the annual July 1st Lamb Barbecue.


  • Pacific Marine Heritage Legacy: The Saturna component of this National Park includes Mount Warburton Pike, Brown Ridge Trail, and the Narvaez Bay Protected Area. Please see Gulf Islands National Park Reserve for more information.
