The Saturna
Island Fire Protection Society
provides fire protection and emergency response services to the Saturna
Island district. The
society is responsible for the collection of tax funds, allocating those funds
(for training volunteers, purchasing new equipment, supplies, etc.) and to set
service policy, plans, budgets and to report to the community on operations and
spending.
