Saturna’s Federal All Candidate's Meeting is scheduled for October 4th at the Saturna Community Hall. It will start at 1:30 pm allowing for a half an hour informal get together with the candidates. The Meeting will begin at 2 pm and last until 4pm. The candidates will present their platforms and each will answer a general question. Following this, the Community will have time to ask questions of the candidates. At the conclusion, candidates will provide a wrap up commentary. Tea, coffee and napkin friendly fare will be available. The meeting will end at 4:00 pm sharp. Candidates need to jump on the ferry to get to North Saanich to attend another all Candidates Meeting in North Saanich at 7 pm! Saturna is fortunate - we are the only outer Gulf Island to host an All Candidate's Meeting this election. Please note, we were unable to book the candidates for an evening meeting so more of us can attend because of the many commitments candidates face.
