Guidelines is a moderated, information-based website, sponsored by the Saturna Community Club. The success of this website will depend on community use. We encourage you to add your own Events or Classifieds by using the “Add your own” link at the top of those sections on the home page. The first time you do so, you will be asked to register as a user. After that merely login whenever you wish to add or edit your content. The submitted event or ad will be sent to the moderators and posted in as quickly as we can. Please keep the information you have submitted up to date. Classified ads will automatically be removed after 30 days.

We also welcome email submissions of photos and articles for the News or In Depth columns that you think will be of interest to the community.

Please keep these guidelines in mind:

Be courteous. We're a community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in the content you submit.

Moderate your content. Please be sure that what you submit is appropriate for the community. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. If you’re unsure whether your content is appropriate or consistent with these guidelines, please err on the side of caution. Submissions that disregard these guidelines will not be published.

Give proper attribution. Link to original articles rather than take credit for someone else’s work.

Make sure the information you give is accurate and up to date. Make corrections as needed.
