A Sexual Safety Survey is being done here in the Gulf Islands to evaluate the success of present response services and basic education services and to make them even more successful. Status of Women Canada is funding a study of sexual assault and available services in our communities. You can help us to build a culture of sexual safety on each island by sharing your experiences, reflections and suggestions about how to create robust education, conversation, education tools, timely intervention, and lastly recovery for our children and grandchildren in the event they hit a situation that they need help with. All responses are anonymous.
Printed surveys are available inside the Saturna General Store or go online to fill in the survey. All surveys are to be returned by May 31st so don't put it off!
